OACCD provides Advocacy, Education and Support to Childhood Care and Education Professionals in Oregon
The Oregon Association of Child Care Directors (OACCD) is a non-profit, tax exempt educational organization founded in 1980 by child care directors from around the state. OACCD is an organization that includes all types of centers: for-profit, non-profit, large to small, church-based, campus based, cooperatives, school-age and more. By providing ADVOCACY, EDUCATION and SUPPORT, OACCD upholds professional growth and development, enhancing the abilities of child care directors, supervisors and program administrators to provide quality child care services.
OACCD represents it’s members on a wide range of local and state-wide committees where policies and decisions that impact the child care community are made.
OACCD presents educational opportunities twice a year to provide professional development opportunities for directors and their staff.
